Abstract
Dr. Luca Cappellin obtaneid a MSc in Physics from the University of Padua, a PhD from the University of Innsbruck, and a postdoc in environmental chemistry from Harvard University. He is now a scientist at the Edmund Mach Foundation, founder of two spin-offs and consultant for various multinational companies. The seminar will focus on a multidisciplinary, scientific and technological problem that has been unsolved until recently. Our work made a solution possible.
Dr. Luca Azzolin, after the degree in Chemistry, completed his PhD in Biomedicine and a post-doc period in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the University of Padova, where is now tenure-track researcher. His scientific interests are focused on understanding how YAP/TAZ, two closely related transcriptional regulators, are modulated and how they act to promote important biological processes as proliferation, differentiation, regeneration and cancer transformation.
